In The Last Day of 2006

Ahh. Last day of 2006.

A year, passed
Time, flown
A story, told
Wounds, healed
Scars, engraved
Words, stored
Memories, kept
Chocolate, melted

There’s too much to say for the year
But I find it unnecessary to voice them out
Some parts are better off deleted

I love my way to step into year 2007
With rains sizzling
Moonlight beaming
While sipping hot chocolate
And fireworks shining on the dark sky
Each exposure bears a hope

Threshold of a new chapter
A blank page
For me to paint on
I know what I want
And what I should do

Transiting
Transforming

Bye bye 2006, I will miss you.

Wishing everyone a better and brighter TWO ZERO ZERO SEVEN and remember not to make mistake while writing the date. Kthxbai.

In Year 2006

It was a a very dark night few months back
But there was words that brought light to me

“we gonna go thru this 2gether ok?”
“walk with me.. and we talk along the way .. ok?”

I remember I was so touched that my tears started to shed.

I kept the words. In my heart.

And let’s step ahead now.
I know I can grab on you, right?

I look forward for a better year with positive thoughts.
I will twist and make it a better one.

Believe me. =)

Rain and New Year

It’s raining outside
The sky has been gloomy since the morning
Nice, yet not so nice
Hissing of rain
And the pelting noise of rain hitting the ground
Slithering beads of rain sluiced down the window
While the soothing wind blowing from the left
Peace restored

The year is gonna end
A year has gone without any productive outcome
Yet it seems to be a really harsh year
A year that I’ve learnt alot
Seen alot
Wounded alot

I will do a reflection for the year
When I have the courage to
Look back at what I’ve done
In this miserable year

I set no goal for the coming year
For the fear of neglecting it
Or perhaps
The fear of failing it

Sometimes
I think
I’m such a failure

Fortune Teller

The morning I reached Sibu, my uncle decided to pay a visit to a fortune teller in there. Chinese are always keen in meeting fortune teller and I can never understand why.

Anyway, we went to met Mr Fortune Teller after having our breakfast together with my cousin.

Once we got into the house, Mr Fortune Teller started to talk to my uncle. The conversation was in Foochow, a chinese dialect, which I could only catch 60% of what was being told..

After some blah-ing with my uncle, he glanced at me. Then looked at my face for 2 seconds.

“Little sister, you’re destined to have 2 husbands.”
*gasps*
“Only look for a life partner after 22 years old.”
*rolls eyes*
2 husbands? Oei, I have 4 EXes before. Does that count?

And something he said hitted me..
“You’ve lotsa guys after you now.”
*gasps gasps gasps*

Don’t have to say so loud in front of my parents lah, Mr Fortune Teller.

He also said I’ve “lan tao hua” which means there’s many guys after me but none is good for me. And kept on advising me to only look for a life partner after I hit 22.
“For now, let those guys go after you but don’t give a damn about them.”
Duh, not like I would give a damn anyway.

“You’re a soft-hearted person. But behold, don’t get cheated by the guys. Always stand firm.”

Then he said I should look for a life partner with the zodiac sign of Tiger and Dragon.

Ah?

And he asked me to be a teacher or an accountant. Idiot.

Hrmm. I couldn’t catch the others spoken. He spoke too fast in a language that I mastered only half.

There goes my first saga with Mr Fortune Teller..

Back from Sibu

The internet connection is half-retarded today. “An industry insider attributed it to a Richter 7.1 earthquake in Taiwan, causing a major cable problem at APCN2 S7 (Asia Pacific Cable Network 2, Segment S7) between Shantou-Tanshui at 00:07hr today, resulting in congested international links to Malaysia, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.” Sigh.

Thought of crapping about the “trip” I had..

Anyway, introducing my new found friend in Sibu..

Meowwww. It was so small and cute that I almost stuffed it into my lugage. I only like kitten. Unlike the arrongant grown up cats, they are innocent. :P
I didn’t bring it back home though.

Okay la, another cutie pie.

Enfa. My cousin’s daughter aka my niece. She starts to eat from the moment she’s awake until she goes to sleep. I’m amazed. She loved my Cabury Chocettes. Hehe. That’s how i lure her to take a picture with me. Say awwww with me.

Seriously, there’s nothing much to talk about when it comes to Sibu.

It’s just another boring town, worse than Kuching.

Even the night view isn’t impressive at all.
The only thing that made me go oooohh-ed over was the Ice Tea Mango in their Watsons.

But hey, they sure have some weird and fresh stuff that I’ve never seen before.

I was in their market, which, as being told - is the biggest in Sarawak. I wasn’t impressed at all. Not like I would wanna get anything from a market. Duh.

What are those black black stuffs ah? I heard that they’re something from olive trees? Or..? *shrugs*

This one..also never seen before..

Mawang Madu?
*question marks flying around my head*

And some classics..

Now u know where to get those flowery bags. I think even my grandma will refuse to carry it. =
Sibu people can be creative too..

It sure reminds you of the movie. In Taiwan, they call motorcycles “little sheepy” and I guess we have to call this one “little pup”. Classic.

Luckily I’m back in Kuching now and feel so much better to be back here. No more random stuff that got me burst into laughters, which is kinda embarrassing on the streets.

Visit Malaysia 2007.

Conversations again

Merry belated christmas. I’m finally back in Kuching. My brain juice has dried up and picts aren’t available, yet.

But I feel incomplete without crapping something here before ending my day.

So anyway, I eavesdropped overheard a conversation between the couple sitting behind me..

It was like 8pm+ upon touching down the Kuching International Airport. We were all like enjoying the scene out there from the above. Streetlights, cars, buildings etc.

GF : Wah..so pretty! Look at those small cars!
BF : Where got as pretty as you!
GF : *giggles*
Me : *shuddered*

=
When we got into the terminal building, a lil’ kid who looked like 3 or 4 was holding unto her mum.

Kid : Where are we at?
Mum : Kuching. Going home.
Kid : Take a flight?
Mum : No, we’re in the Kuching airport already, going home.
Kid : Aeroplane? Whee!
Mum : No, we’re going HOME.
Kid : Where’s home? We’re in airport. Aeroplane!
Mum : *gave up and kept walking*

….. Please let out some laughters.

Eat

I feel so FAT! I have tummy now. My abs are no more flat. Kekeke. So crappy can. By the way, I’m here in another cyber cafe with MCR’s songs playing. Great. Simply love it. I don’t know where are my parents. ….

I have to confess something. I’ve been eating really alot! Since yesterday evening. After having pizza and tried out the new rice fiesta in Pizza Hut yesterday afternoon, I was like never stop eating. We had our dinner at 6pm+, which was kinda early. Then dad decided to buy some foods in McD, which I ended up consuming another cheeeeeesey beed burger and an apple pie plus some fries at 9pm+. Then my uncle, who’s staying next door in the same hotel knocked our room at 11pm+ and brought in a whole CHICKEN! Salted chicken, which he claimed that we can only get it in here, no other place else. Then we had our breakfast before 7am, because my uncle will need to catch some..err..bus to another town. Then we went to another uncle’s house and eat again at 10am+. It’s almost 12pm now…and I will have to eat again at 1pm+.

…… Eat eat eat eat eat!

And I feel asleep watching The Nightmare Before Christmas last night………So boring. :(

By the way, the only drink I had since yesterday is Ice Tea Mango. Except the milk I had for this morning. Ahh, and also Coke la…….cannot resist that one. I think I will have to drink some plain water soon la. Else……. -.-

Great. I don’t know what to crap about anymore. And I can’t help peeping the computer screens next to me. LOL.

Sibu

FYI, I’m currently in this place called Premier in Sibu. Heck, I don’t own a laptop, thus no internet for me when I’m back to the hotel.

Walked around alot today. Bought some stuff. Things are sure cheap here compared to Kuching.

By the way, I’m addicted to Lipton Ice Tea Manggo. …. -.- New addiction.

This is place is dull. Worse than Kuching. The kid next to me who looks lke 9 or 10 is playing MapleStory and smiling all the way. Gosh. His typing skill beats mine. Meh. Then I can hear some stupid sound of racing cars. And my parents are in McDonald’s. *shrugs*

Actually the excuse for me to come to the cyber cafe was - the rain. It’s raining outside so we can’t walk back to the hotel. Hehe. That’s why I made my dad to let me come in here.

Santa Claus (the fake one la) here is annoying. Forced people to shake hand with him. Then rang his stupid bell so loudly. His HO!HO!HO! sounds evilish too. I kid you not, a kid cried when he saw the Santa. Haha.

Think I’ll go on MSN later when I’m back to the hotel via mobile. Else I would die. Will be heading over to Bintangor, a tiny little pathetic sleepy town near Sibu tomorrow morning. I’ll be even more dead there.

Oei people, SMS me. Video call me. Do anything to save me from the boredom (that kills). Nobody wants me to be dead, right. =P

I miss my PC at home. I miss you. :(
